Memorial Weekend with the Gencos

We packed up our gear and headed to Frenso to meet up with the Gencos to spend the weekend at their vacation home in Shaver Lake. On the way we picked up some yummy cherries and let the kids run loose around the porch (gated of course). Sydney met up with her friend, McKenna. Later that night, we BBQed and watch Ulimate Fighting - never seen it before and don't plan to in the future. Weather was perfect, went on a hike and did manage to get to the lake at some point. Nice easy weekend. On our way back down, we visited Morey and Stephanie on their farm - really cool place. All in all, nice memorial day weekend.
